Wisp Resort is located on Marsh Mountain which is 2,415 feet at the base, 3,115 at the summit with a 700 feet vertical drop. The 22 slopes and trails total 10.5 miles on 132 acres of skiable terrain.

The infamous Possum Trail is the longest trail at just over 1.5 miles. Wisp is home to the Super Pipe, two rail parks, Terrain Trails & Gardens and a Nordic center for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Wisp Resort also features the Bear Claw Snow Tubing Park which features a ski carpet - just step up and you go! Squirrel Cage and The Face are the most popular trails.

Night skiing is truly exhilarating, and Wisp offers night skiing on 90% of its mountain. Five triple chairlifts and 4 surface tows (2 ski carpets & 2 handle tows) operate daily as specified in the ski report.

In addition to the 100" average annual snowfall, Wisp has one of the world's largest and most energy-efficient snowmaking systems to be found.

The 100% airless snowmaking system is capable of producing over 36" of man-made snow in four days on 90% of our trails. Snowmaking operations at Wisp, with computerized weather and pumping stations is world renown for its efficiency! Others may have more pipeline or more slopes, but Wisp converts more water at higher temperatures than any other system.
