The Gravity East Series (GES) is a downhill mountain bike racing series conceived in an effort to establish a true East Coast series that would allow racers to showcase their high level of talent and to compete in a points series across major venues spanning the Atlantic coast. As an addition, Mad March Racing will be offering mountain bike racing and riding clinics at all venues. These clinics will be conducted on the GES race course at each event.
The GES is sanctioned by USA Cycling and has been officially designated as the USA Cycling Mountain Bike North Atlantic Regional Championship Series . Each race is a qualifying event for the 2008 USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships at Mount Snow, VT in July 2008.
